Executive Summary
The Business Executive (TBE) Communications Group is introducing a new Ghana –focused, nationwide awards scheme and accompanying conference known as the 100 Ghana Legendary Honours Leadership Conference & Recognitions.
This award aims to identify and publicly celebrate 100 men and women across Ghana who are recognized for their conduct and contributions to various key spheres of political, societal and business leadership in the country and who, by so doing, have made indelible impacts on the growth and development trajectory of Ghana and its citizens. To this end the event will appreciate 100 members of the country’s political, diplomatic, socio-economic and professional classes leadership elite whose names deserve to written in gold in the formal recording of Ghana’s contemporary fortunes, since their conduct, activities, accomplishments and impacts have conferred on them legendary status.
All Ghanaians whose activities impact on their country’s fortunes, as well as foreigners resident in Ghana are eligible for consideration for the awards, as long as they meet our awards selection criteria, which are stated in this document. All awardees will automatically qualify to participate in the national conference on the roles and responsibilities of Ghana’s leadership class as well as the support they need and deserve, that will immediately precede the conferment of awards. They will be joined at the conference by a selection of key stakeholders in the activities and socio-economic impacts of those who can be regarded as Ghana’s most legendary socio-economic leaders, including the regulators, facilitators and beneficiaries of their activities. The entire event – conference and awards included – will be held under the theme: “CELEBRATING LEGENDS WHOSE STATUS DESERVE ACCLAIM IN GHANA.” For the purposes of this awards scheme, no specific sectors have been delineated for each awardee. However, awards will be conferred on nominees, divided into five broad categories as follows: Diplomatic leadership; professional leadership; entrepreneurial leadership; and managerial leadership. . For the sake of inclusivity we will ensure that each broad category is represented within the selection of 100 awardees.

THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE FORMAT
The preceding National Conference will take place on the same day as the Awards Conferment Event which will take place later that evening. The purpose of the conference is to examine and assess the roles and responsibilities of Ghana’s leadership class and ways in which they can be supported and facilitated to further improve the outcomes of their activities. To this end the core of the participation in the conference will be the awardees themselves, so they can share their motivations, their experiences, the strategies they have applied, and their satisfaction at achieving positive impacts, as well as the challenges they face and the support they need. They will also be joined at the conference by a selection of key stakeholders in the activities and socio-economic impacts of those who can be regarded as Ghana’s most legendary economic, societal and cultural leaders including the regulators, facilitators and beneficiaries of their activities.
